About me

I began my career as freelance photographic assistant to fashion photographers including Annie Liebovitz, Jurgen Teller and Corrine Day. I received my first commission as a photographer for the new magazine GQ Active after showing a portfolio of sports images shot in London and the North of England and work then followed for GQ, FHM, and Fortune(US) magazines.
By 2002 I had become increasingly interested in the use of digital technology and, seeing a gap in the market, decided to set up my own retouching business Tangerine Digital Imaging Ltd. The business did well (including an ad campaign for Agent Provocateur), but I found I was spending too much time on it, so 5 years later I closed the business to concentrate on photography again.
I have always specialised in people photography and am experienced both in the studio and on location, in the UK and abroad with all types of subjects from actors, musicians and models to politicians and royalty.
Recent work includes stills photography on BBC productions Ashes to Ashes, Day of the Triffids and Spooks, PR campaigns for Budweiser, Impulse and EDF Energy, advertising campaigns for Storm London, Nuffield Health and AA and publicity work for Disney Channels (UK & US)
